Leasing Agent Location: NE Portland, OR (Onsite - Market Rate Property) Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00/hour (DOE) Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent hire Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, Full-Time Position Overview LHH Recruitment is seeking a customer-focused Leasing Agent to support leasing operations at a market-rate residential property in NE Portland. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in driving occupancy through exceptional service, strong leasing follow-up, and professional property presentation. This is a contract opportunity with strong potential to convert to a permanent role for the right fit. Key Responsibilities * Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and via email * Conduct professional apartment tours and highlight community features and amenities * Respond promptly to leasing inquiries, online leads, and walk-ins * Support the application and screening process in accordance with Fair Housing guidelines * Prepare and execute lease documentation * Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and assist with basic unit inspections * Maintain accurate prospect and resident records in the property management system * Support marketing efforts to promote available units * Provide excellent customer service to current residents and collaborate with onsite teams as needed * Maintain a clean, welcoming leasing office and community appearance Qualifications * 1+ year of leasing, property management, or related customer-facing experience * High school diploma or equivalent required * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Excellent communication and follow-up abilities * Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced onsite environment * Familiarity with Fair Housing standards (training preferred) * Proficiency with basic computer systems; property management software experience is a plus Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Ashley Armstrong Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
