Position Summary:

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you ll provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric patients working alongside a supportive team of pediatricians and medical professionals. Your focus will be on patient-centered care, health education, and ensuring continuity for every child we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in a culturally sensitive setting

• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record

• Refer patients for specialty care and ancillary services when needed

• Participate in quality improvement and community outreach efforts

• Mentor medical students and clinical support staff

Qualifications:

• Master s degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program

• Board Certified (PNCB, AANP, or ANCC)

• Texas NP license in good standing

• DEA registration

• BLS certification (AHA required)

• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred

• Previous pediatric experience strongly preferred
