Ultrasound Technologist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a full-time, permanent Ultrasound Technologist to join a talented team at a reputable acute-care hospital located near Brownwood, Texas.

Salary: $61,799 - $85,699 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Preparation: Position and prepare patients safely for ultrasound exams, ensuring they feel comfortable throughout.
• Equipment Operation: Operate ultrasound machines effectively to capture clear, high-quality images of internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
• Work Hours: Three 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
• Image Review: Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to assist in diagnosing conditions and developing treatment plans.
• Record Keeping: Document patient history, procedures, and diagnostic findings accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to share findings and support comprehensive patient care.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound machines are well-maintained and calibrated, and promptly report any technical concerns.
• Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and provide post-procedure instructions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program in Radiology or Ultrasound.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in ultrasound.
• Certifications: ARRT or ARDMS certification is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS): Certification required.
• Licensing: Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or certified by ARDMS.
• Professional Demeanor: Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.
• Confidentiality: Able to handle confidential information with care and discretion.
