Painter

Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent maintenance firm in the High Point, NC area, is seeking an experienced Painter to join their team! This is a temp to hire role.

Painter Job Summary:

• Temp to Hire Position

• Pay: $18-20 an hour DOE
• Shift Available:
  • 6:30a-2:30p Mon.-Fri.

The Painter is responsible for preparing, priming, and painting walls, doorways, etc. according to company quality and safety standards. You will ensure all finished surfaces meet durability, appearance, and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
• Inspect and correct defects such as sags, runs, or thin spots
• Follow all safety, environmental, and material-handling procedures
• Maintain painting equipment
• Apply undercoats, sealers, and topcoats to various surfaces.
• Perform touch-ups and final finish repairs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial or residential painting experience
• Strong knowledge of paint prep, application techniques, and materials
• Ability to recognize and correct finish defects

Physical demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands and arms.
• Must be able to communicate clearly
