Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.Key Responsibilities:Deliver delegated aspects of direct patient care based on education and experience.Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in care delivery.Manage and prioritize patient care activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.Perform physical examinations and data collection.Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and education.Administer medications and manage peripheral IV therapy.Facilitate discharge planning and implementation of physician's orders.Accurately document patient care activities and outcomes.Qualifications:Current LPN/LVN licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.IV Certification required.Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.Position Details:Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.Duration: 13 weeks.Number of positions available: 1.This role requires a collaborative and compassionate approach to patient care.
