Position Overview
Little Kentucky Smokehouse is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team in Uniontown, KY. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a commercial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced working with commercial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local codes
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
