Empower elementary students to reach their full potential by contributing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher in an engaging and supportive school setting near Castle Rock, WA. This full-time, onsite opportunity extends through June 11, 2027, and offers the chance to make a true difference in the lives of diverse learners.

You’ll play a vital role in the educational experience of elementary-aged students with a variety of disabilities, cultivating a nurturing classroom environment alongside a dedicated team of educators and support staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience teaching elementary students with a range of disabilities is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, staff, and related service providers
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• A collaborative and compassionate approach to individualized instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with student IEPs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate lesson plans that address academic and functional goals
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom community
• Partner with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Complete required assessments, documentation, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities

This is a contract position for the upcoming school year with a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day). Interviews are being scheduled promptly, with a preference for in-person meetings, though Zoom interviews are available for convenience.
