Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ unique mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans.

  • Delivering evidence-based therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.

  • Collaborating closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to ensure that clients receive integrated and holistic care that addresses their needs in a coordinated manner.

  • Providing crisis intervention as needed for clients in acute distress, employing your clinical skills to offer immediate support and intervention during emergencies.
  • \n
  • Engaging in community outreach initiatives and educational activities aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse array of clients, including individuals from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will support clients managing a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related conditions. By fostering strong therapeutic alliances, you will enhance client engagement and drive better treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

  • An active and independent clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A completed master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds.

  • A commitment to cultural competence, ensuring sensitivity and responsiveness to the diverse needs of our clientele.

  • Robust organizational skills and adeptness in time management, enabling accurate documentation and efficient service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience in community health settings or telehealth are preferred, as well as demonstrated expertise in working with vulnerable populations. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems may be advantageous to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.
