Medical Surgical/Oncology RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays and every other weekend required.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Oncology RN to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to adult patients battling cancer, palliative care, and those requiring family education on oncological processes. The RN will also care for urology and telemetry patients within a 29-bed unit.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and support patients during treatment.
• Provide care and management for central lines and ports.
• Administer blood products and PCA pumps as needed.
• Assist in bone marrow aspiration and pleurx chest tube management.
• Engage in family education and support for patient care processes.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor vital signs in telemetry settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical or oncology setting.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact RN License.
• Required certifications: BLS. ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Experience with telemetry, central line draws, blood administration, and PCA pumps.
