Our unique interdisciplinary program unites policy analysis and legal studies to examine critical societal issues. We seek candidates with the interest and ability to teach advanced undergraduate courses in their area of research expertise, courses on health policy, and an introduction to US public policy. Trinity is a highly selective, independent, nonsectarian liberal arts institution located in the capital city of Hartford, Connecticut. The college maintains a rigorous academic profile complemented by a vibrant co-curricular program. The teaching load is 2/2 for the first two years (and 3/2 thereafter), with a one-semester research leave every fourth year. The successful candidate will be eligible for start-up funds, ongoing annual research funds, and funds toward conference travel. Qualifications Evidence of scholarly promise and teaching effectiveness is required. A Ph.D. in Public Policy, Sociology, Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, or a related field should be in hand by August 2027.
