Job Overview Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an IFC Software Factory Manager 3 to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL. Key Responsibilities Lead IFC execution teams throughout the entire lifecycle (design, planning, executing, and completing IFCs through IFC Certification). Manage and approve IFC artifacts and deliverables. Lead the IFC technical team—both internal and suppliers—in architecture, incremental feature definition, requirements, interfaces, and informal testing on target hardware. Coordinate with external customer teams and suppliers. Prepare and present executive‑level materials, including status updates, decision briefs, and strategic communications to support leadership awareness and decision‑making. Serve as a liaison between NG and supplier teams to remove roadblocks, improve collaboration, and accelerate delivery of supplier SW/HW for the IFC. Participate in Risk/Opportunity Management and Board Reviews for the IFC. Lead IFC Design Reviews. Lead IFC Strategic Plan, Process Manual, and Detailed Descriptions (architecture). Lead development of Feature Roadmaps. Qualifications 8 Years with a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university; 6 Years with a Master’s Degree or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP). Experience with technical problem solving and systems engineering support across multiple engineering disciplines. Experience successfully applying engineering processes and procedures to complex development and production efforts. Demonstrated experience leading diverse engineering teams and attracting, recruiting, and developing top talent. Experience collaborating and executing on large and complex systems engineering or integration efforts. Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have) Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Experience leading groups of 50+ in a programmatic or technical capacity. Experience in leading the planning and execution of Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs). Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, and organizational skills. Salary & Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $276,500.00.
