About the Position

Job Title: Phase I Recovery RN Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN degree Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Trauma level recovery Description: Candidates must be able to clear and start within 10 business days of offer acceptance. This position is in a 198-bed, level III trauma center, including state-of-the-art operating suites. The facility provides healthcare services to the Four Corners region, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. The facility has received various awards and accolades for its healthcare services and aesthetic qualities. Located in a beautiful region featuring three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and several National Parks. The area offers opportunities for hiking, kayaking, historical sightseeing, and off-roading activities. The unit profile includes working in a Phase I recovery setting for various specialties, including general surgery, ortho, neuro, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, and robotics. The number of beds in the unit is 7, with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:2. The equipment used includes Mindray and Cerner EHR systems. Supervision is provided by a designated supervisor. The patient population consists primarily of adult patients with mid to high acuity. Possibility of floating to preoperative and/or endoscopy departments, as needed. Preferred skills and experience include recovery experience for pediatrics and dental procedures. Common diagnoses and treatments align with the specialties listed.
