Schedule Straight night shift or variable shift (8 week days/8 weeks nights rotation) Critical Care Highlights 26‑bed ICU comprised of two specialized 13‑bed units: Trauma–Neuro ICU Cardiac ICU VA and VV ECMO with bridge‑to‑recovery capability 24/7 on‑site intensivist coverage for all ICU patients Dedicated Rapid Response Team staffed by critical care nurses Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence‑based practice Comprehensive onboarding and training program designed to build confidence, support professional growth, and promote long‑term success—an exceptional opportunity to advance your critical care career while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes Responsibilities Assists physician during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self‑care skills Performs a variety of tasks A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program Licensed RN with a minimum 3 years’ patient‑facing RN experience at time of hire, ADN or diploma required; BSN or higher preferred All non‑BSN RN's with less than 3 years’ patient‑facing RN experience at time of hire are required to be enrolled in a baccalaureate (or higher) degree program in nursing within 1 year of employment, with completion within 3 years of hire State of Idaho Registered Nurse OR licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the “multistate privilege to practice” compact with Idaho prior to start date CCRN, CNOR, or a minimum of 1 year experience in Critical Care, Emergency or OR/PACU required, as applicable ACLS Required BLS Required.
