After successful completion of onsite training for up to 4 weeks, and depending on performance, the position will have the opportunity to work from home 3 days a week.**Insurance Premium Payment Associate**Responds to record and process telephonic payment inquiries throughout the day in a higher volume call queue environment. Responsible for taking both initial and ongoing payments for insurance products while maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsible to work in multiple computer programs at a time. Must be able to maintain a high level of service to customers while managing changing volume demands of the call center.# **Education*** High school diploma or equivalent# # **Certification/Licensure*** No specific certification or licensure requirements# **Experience*** 1-year customer service experience **REQUIRED*** Payment and or Billing experience in healthcare is highly preferred* Computer skills & strong verbal skills in English **REQUIRED*** Must have experience in a call center & be detailed-oriented **highly preferred*** Healthcare environment experience a plus* Reliable transportation essential to success in role**Sentara Health Plans** provides health plan coverage to close to one million members in Virginia.
