Spirit Lake Family Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our full-time team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our dental professionals, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care, all within a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Basic life support
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Familiarity with dental assisting concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to stand, sit, move, and communicate effectively throughout the workday.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment, managing priorities efficiently.
Basic computer skills including typing and phone communication.
Valid CPR Certification.

Job Description

Assist dentists chairside during examinations and procedures.
Prepare and maintain treatment areas following strict infection control protocols.
Manage dental instrumentation and materials efficiently.
Communicate effectively with patients and team members, both in person and via phone.
Operate computer systems and dental software for scheduling and records.
Prioritize multiple tasks to maintain smooth clinic flow.
Adhere to safety standards, including CPR and AED protocols.
Provide patient education and support as needed.

Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
