RN - Prep / PARU (Full Time) Location: Wichita, KS: West Office (Main Office) Must be available to work a flexible schedule, 32 - 40 hours per week. Employees self-schedule. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Perform age-specific assessment and intervention for surgical patient during pre-operative and post-operative phase and provide post-operative/discharge instruction prior to discharge. Implement emergency procedures as necessary. Maintain accurate and complete medical records and controlled substances logs. Assist with anesthesia procedures in pre-op. Maintain compliance with OSHA standards for healthcare facilities. Participate in educational opportunities for professional growth and development. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Graduate of accredited school of nursing 1 year general nursing experience, orthopaedics helpful 1 year experience PARU nursing or ICU experience Experience with IV starts helpful BCLS certified #J-18808-Ljbffr
