Radiation Therapist – Hospital (Philadelphia, PA) | ARRT-Certified, Proton/CT-SIM Experience Preferred

Experienced Radiation Therapist (ARRT) needed in Philadelphia — full-time, part-time, or PRN hospital roles; 13-week contract with temp-to-perm potential. Join a leading oncology team in University City.

Job Details – Radiation Therapist (Philadelphia, PA)

• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 — University City area; easy access to museums, parks, restaurants, and Philadelphia healthcare employers
• Position: Radiation Therapist (hospital setting) — oncology and cancer center experience welcomed
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential extension or temp-to-perm placement)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM; shift preferences accommodated)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Hours per Week: 40
• Work Setting: On-site at multiple hospital locations (PCAM, PAH, PPMC)

Qualifications – Radiation Therapist Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or cancer center setting
• ARRT certification required (Radiation Therapy)
• Experience with Proton therapy and/or CT/SIM (CT simulation) is a plus
• Comfortable rotating between designated hospital locations as needed
• Strong patient communication skills and commitment to safety and accurate treatment delivery

Key Responsibilities – Radiation Therapy

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments per physician orders, departmental protocols, and safety guidelines
• Accurately position patients and verify treatment set-ups using CT/SIM and imaging tools
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and the multidisciplinary care team
• Participate in initial training with an experienced Radiation Technologist on assigned equipment
• Adapt to variable schedules and multiple hospital sites within the system
