Skilled Laborer - Primoris Heavy Civil - Golden Meadow, LA

Job Overview: Job Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and select appropriate materials. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, frames, floorings, and trim. Assemble and fasten material together to construct forms for pouring concrete, stairs, scaffolding, and temporary structures. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Work collaboratively with other trades and team members on the job site. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in heavy civil construction or a related field. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install various materials. Familiarity with safety procedures and the ability to work safely at all times. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred.
