Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician Central California. This position supports the performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures within a busy surgical environment. The role involves handling instruments, supplies, and equipment, and ensuring patient safety and quality care during surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Location Requirements: The role is based in Central California, with occasional floating to neighboring facilities as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology; Certified Surgery Technician (CST) certification or Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT); National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms, assists in setting up sterile fields, passes instruments to the surgeon, and performs counts and dressings as required. Helps in room turnover and ensures all supplies and equipment are prepared for procedures. Must have EPIC experience and be willing to float to Bakersfield as needed.
