Physical Therapist
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and provide treatment to patients as appropriate.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care.
- Accurately document services in a timely manner.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians in accordance with practice acts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and communicate with families effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT) is required.
- Possession of an active state Physical Therapy license or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong skills in communication, documentation, and clinical practice.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facility environments, schedules, and patient needs.
