Our hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for a diverse patient population, including dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, and birds. What You'll Do Monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures Provide exceptional nursing care and patient treatment Assist with exotic animal handling, diagnostics, and procedures Perform dental prophylaxis and obtain high-quality dental radiographs Support veterinarians during surgery and advanced medical procedures Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and patient wellness Help maintain AAHA-level standards of patient care and hospital protocols Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment What We're Looking For Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) Minimum 3 years of veterinary technician experience Strong anesthesia monitoring and patient nursing skills Experience with dental x-ray and cleaning Knowledge of AAHA standards and best practices Experience working with exotic species preferred Surgical assistance experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team-focused mindset with leadership potential Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Generous paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Paid parental leave 24/7 mental health and wellness support Complimentary access to a RACE-approved continuing education platform If you're passionate about providing outstanding patient care and enjoy working with both traditional companion animals and exotic pets, we'd love to hear from you.
