We are an established law firm in the Mahoning Valley seeking a motivated Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will work directly with partners on business and employment litigation, gaining hands-on experience from day one. What You’ll Do:
- Lead Discovery : Manage all phases of discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
- Advocate in Court : Regularly appear for hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Client Ownership : Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, translating complex legal issues into actionable strategy.
- Litigation Experience : Minimum 2 years prior litigation experience.
- Writing Excellence : Ability to craft persuasive, clear, and non-convoluted legal arguments.
- Adaptability : A "skills-first" mindset with an interest in learning new legal technologies.
- Bar Admission : Must be a member in good standing with the Ohio Bar.
- Sustainable Growth : Realistic billable requirements designed to prevent burnout.
- Professional Development : Annual CLE stipends, mentorship, and a path to senior associate/partner roles.
