As the Software Developer Team Lead at you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely and successful project delivery. In addition to your technical expertise, you will also play a key role in mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.

- Collaborate with product managers, company visionaries, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.

- Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

- Proactively identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks, and propose solutions to overcome them.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our projects and processes.

- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the team, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

- Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven track record of success as a software developer, with at least 10 years of experience in software development.

- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a minimum of 7 years of experience leading software development teams.

- Strong technical proficiency in PHP & PHP Framework (Laravel Required ) (MySQL) Javascript (JQuery, VUE), Bootstrap UI, CSS/SAS

- Familiarity with NPM, Composer, WSL, Docker, Docker Compose, Git

- Working Knowledge in Testing (PHPUnit or equivalent), Websockets, Process Queueing, Scheduling, Kubernetes and AWS.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and management.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
