Cashier

Overview Pay Range $18.10 - $20.65. Position: Cashier (Customer Service Associate) at Floor & Decor. You are the first and final interaction for customers, responsible for providing excellent customer service at checkout, handling returns, and performing basic cash office functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. Responsibilities Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner and connect with customers about their projects, recommending products and exciting them about their purchase. Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations. Demonstrate an understanding of and comply with the company’s safety processes. Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values. Process checkout using the point of sale (POS) system, and handle refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines. Open and close registers and follow established cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures. Answer telephone calls according to company guidelines. Stock, tag, and display merchandise; create price tags and merchandise signs as required. Qualifications Minimum Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older. Knowledge of basic math skills. Customer service experience. Ability to potentially travel to other stores for support. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Travel and environment: Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level typically quiet to moderate. Physical/Sensory: Medium work; exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly; use of hands and fingers; may stand, walk, reach, climb/balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
