Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Establish and maintain a respectful and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student success.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and participate in school initiatives.
• Foster relationships with the community to enhance educational opportunities for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and utilize various teaching strategies.

• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices.
