Food RunnerGrand Pacific Hotel Services LP - Carlsbad, CA 92008Seasonal Position: May 2025 - August 2025POSITION PURPOSEAssists the Food Servers in providing an excellent experience to our customers, assure all outgoing dishes are correctly prepared and garnished properly, run food to customer's tables, bus tables, stock plates, and are knowledgeable about all current menu options, beverage lists and daily specials.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInspect all outgoing plates to ensure they are correctly prepared and garnished properlyRun food to customer's tablesBus tables, stock platesInteract and communicate with Servers and Culinary staff to ensure high quality of service for our customersInteract with customers regarding current menu options, beverage lists and daily specialsOther:Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
