Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Our client, Kidsplay Therapy Center , is seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist for its Loganville location. You'll be part of a passionate multidisciplinary team that truly enjoys making a difference in the lives of children. Candidate must be 45 minutes or less driving time from Loganville Educational Qualifications: Degree : Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure : Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice. Certification : Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Skills and Experience: Pediatric Experience : Prior experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred. Therapeutic Skills : Proficient in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children with physical, developmental, emotional, or sensory challenges. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. Problem‑Solving : Strong ability to assess needs, identify goals, and adapt treatment plans as needed. Creativity : Ability to create engaging, play‑based therapeutic activities tailored to each child's interests and developmental level. Additional Qualifications (Preferred): Training or certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., Sensory Integration Therapy, Reflex Integration, or Feeding Therapy). Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment. CPR and First Aid certification.
