Records Management Specialist

TEKsystems is hiring several Records Management Specialists to work for a client based in Rochester NY. These positions would take place ON SITE in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities Go to sites and collect paper medical record charts for indexing. Determine if records fall under destruction category or can be indexed. Separate inappropriate sections. Collect the destruction pile for the destruction team to take away and destroy. Collect charts able to be indexed and sort onto pallets for transporting. Transport to location and begin data entry into e-files. Qualifications Candidates with office, customer service, or warehouse background could be a strong fit. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Basic math skills. Attention to detail. Data entry skills. Hours Mon - Fri 40-hour work week, 8am-5pm Pay $18.50/hr. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.
