More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day.A Brief Overview The Clinic Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care as reflected in the SC LPN scope of practice including health data collection, administering medications, implementing patient interventions, assessing patient responses, and basic health teaching.What you will do:Perform medication pre-authorizations and refill requestsProvide follow-up to lab results and medication changesAssisting physician with patient set-up and preparationsPerform nurse visits and patient educationTriaging incoming phone callsCheck-in and check-out when neededRooming patients and performing data collections, vitals, EMR inputSending outgoing referrals and managing fax in-box / distributing faxes to proper staffOrdering / managing general inventory and office suppliesAssist with staff trainingEducation Qualifications:High School Diploma RequiredExperience Qualifications:2 years previous experience as an LPN PreferredSkills and Abilities:Possesses skills and abilities required in a multifaceted environment in addition to those related to nursing.Computer knowledge required.Phlebotomy skills and experience preferred.Licenses and Certifications:Licensed Practical Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing RequiredRegistered Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in good standing PreferredBasic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
