Position: Physician Assistant

Location: Burlington, VT

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week

Position Overview

Seeking a compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide onsite primary care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to residents in long-term care settings.
\n
• Conduct physical exams and assess medical histories.
\n
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
\n
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
\n
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
\n
• Educate residents and families regarding treatment and care plans.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Active and unrestricted PA license in Vermont.
\n
• Minimum 6 months of long-term care or skilled nursing experience .
\n
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
\n
• Passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care to seniors.
\n
• Ability to perform required physical and clinical duties.
\n
