Job TitleDutiesAdvises senior SOF leadership on force development and design plans to secure organizational approval for emerging strategic capabilities.Supports organizational analyses of operational approaches and emerging technologies to evaluate the feasibility and suitability of proposed policy adjustments.Identifies operational risks and critical decision points by conducting strategic wargaming and performance evaluations.Generates proposals for new programs, policies, and analytical studies by executing wargaming, experimentation, and training exercises.Implements force development methodologies and analytical research to evaluate alternative programs and improve overall personnel employment.Performs programmatic resource analyses to support executive decision-making on complex organizational issues.Advises high-level managers on the advantages of different experimentation methods to guide the selection of optimal analytical approaches.Prepares wargaming reports and executive-level oral briefings to deliver technical findings to civilian and military decision-makers.Drafts background information papers and strategic correspondence to inform executive engagement discussions regarding defense policy and resourcing.Coordinates methodology and assessment plans with external sponsors and partners to inform strategic decision-making by high-level officials.Monitors contracted projects and study plans to ensure vendor deliverables align with broader organizational requirements.
