About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Executive Recruiter for its Sports Practice. This role is pivotal in the establishment of the executive recruitment practice, focusing on C-suite and senior leadership mandates within sports franchises, leagues, and related organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full executive search process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, and will be expected to maintain a deep pipeline of senior sports business executives. Key responsibilities include supporting the search process, cultivating relationships with decision-makers, and drafting job descriptions. The role demands a high level of organization, a proactive approach to client engagement, and the ability to operate with the agility of a new venture while being backed by the credibility of a global agency. Applicants for the Vice President, Executive Recruiter position should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in HR, talent acquisition, or executive recruitment, with a strong preference for those with a background in the sports industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep network across sports ownership groups, front offices, and leagues, and a strong understanding of the hiring practices within sports organizations. The role requires a candidate who is highly organized, process-driven, and capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously. Experience in a recognized executive search firm with a sports or entertainment vertical, as well as familiarity with CRM and ATS platforms, is a plus.
