Registered Nurse Behavioral Health

RN – Behavioral MedicineLocation: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Duration: 13 weeks Shift/Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts; full-time. Floating required to Psych.Job Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.Make clinical decisions and modify care plans based on patient outcomes.Implement and document timely interventions.Participate in patient/family education and discharge planning.Perform Point-of-Care testing.Maintain patient rights, safety, and quality standards.Collaborate respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.Current New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license.BLS certification required.CPI certification or equivalent required; Blue Card preferred.Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population.Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.Behavioral Health/Psych experience required or preferred based on unit needs.Preferences:CPI Blue Card preferred.Relevant Behavioral Health/Psych nursing experience.Additional nursing education/certifications may support higher clinical ladder placement.
