This itinerant position offers the chance to shape young lives by providing vital physical therapy services throughout the school year. Enjoy a schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), immersing yourself in a diverse caseload that spans students of all ages and abilities.

What you’ll bring:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong ability to manage shifting caseloads and travel between sites
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Completion of required fingerprinting in compliance with state regulations (prior prints may be transferable)
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all students

Role responsibilities:

• Assess and deliver targeted physical therapy interventions for students across assigned campuses
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with educators and families
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and document progress according to district standards
• Consult with teachers and staff to maximize student mobility and participation in school activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to broader school-based support teams
• Ensure compliance with all state, district, and school-based therapy protocols
