About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to spearhead its financial strategy and performance. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and private equity investors, with a focus on driving growth, operational efficiency, and value creation. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance, and requires a proactive approach to building the necessary infrastructure to support rapid expansion and future transactions. The VP of Finance will also be responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, as well as developing long-term financial models to support growth initiatives and market expansion. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance leadership experience is required, with at least 3-5 years in a private-equity-backed or multi-unit consumer business. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in managing financial operations for a company with multi-state retail, restaurant, or service locations, and a deep knowledge of GAAP, FP&A, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience with ERP implementations, and a history of successful partnerships with PE sponsors, lenders, and auditors. Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
