Responsibilities Provide high-quality veterinary care exclusively to canine and feline patients. Perform comprehensive wellness and preventive healthcare examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans. Perform routine soft tissue surgical procedures according to experience. Perform routine anesthetic procedures and basic dentistry. Utilize ultrasound and other diagnostic resources to support clinical decision‑making. Use therapeutic laser and other treatment modalities where clinically appropriate. Communicate diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and prognoses clearly with pet owners. Build strong and lasting client relationships. Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support professionals. Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to developing team members where appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records. Participate in continuing education and professional development. Contribute ideas to support the continued growth and development of the practice. Potentially progress into future clinical leadership responsibilities according to experience and career goals. Candidate Profile Candidates should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification and possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Florida veterinary license.
