About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: RRT or CRT required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Must have one supervisor reference from the most recent/current assignment. Must have experience floating throughout the hospital, proficient in ICU and ER. Description: The role involves providing adult therapy, EKGs, and aerosol treatments. You will manage ventilators and Bipap units. Job duties include assisting with intubation for adults. You will cover a wide range of patient types, including adults, pediatrics, and neonates. Care settings include inpatient, PCU, ICU, emergency room, labor and delivery, and nursery. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting. You should be capable of working independently and collaboratively. All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility. Scrub color is pewter gray. You will be expected to work every other weekend and on holidays as needed. The position entails floating throughout the entire facility. The supervisor on each shift will also take on patient assignments. A two-shift department-specific orientation is provided.
