Warehouse Associate - Wire Cutter

Looking for an associate to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where every day is different. Primary duties will involve filling orders for delivery to customers and/or working in our wire center managing the wire inventory. Hard working, team oriented and self-starting are a must. This shift begins at 1:00pm and typically ends around 11:00pm on Monday through Friday.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Willingness to learn how to cut wire and perform industry specific tasks in our warehouse is key.
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist.
• Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift.
• Ability to climb ladders to pull material.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to operate a forklift.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identify, measure, and cut the correct wire for customers.
• Fill product orders ensuring accuracy of measurement and wire product selection.
• Operate the forklift as needed to complete project work.
• Maintaining the assigned work zone.
• Resolving discrepancies with appropriate departments.
• Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Assign and distribute work through a computer.
• General housekeeping.

Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $42000 to $52000 annually.
