How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Lead and coordinate shift operations for clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure patient care objectives are met.
• Assign duties to licensed and non-licensed staff based on individual skill levels and State Nurse Practice Act guidelines.
• Gather team input to assess unit needs and create comprehensive care plans for all patients on the shift.
• Observe staff care, provide immediate feedback, report performance trends to leadership, and assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Interview candidates and provide hiring recommendations to unit leadership for new shift staff.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• 5+ years of RN and ED experience
