Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Commitment to supporting students of various abilities, backgrounds, and ages

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs for occupational therapy intervention
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Design and implement therapy sessions to foster fine motor, sensory processing, life, and adaptive skills
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Educate and provide strategies to school staff and parents to reinforce students’ success
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
