Cook – Magnolia Healthcare & Rehabilitation (Columbia, TN)
Magnolia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cook to join our dietary team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while ensuring compliance with all dietary guidelines and food safety standards.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of resident satisfaction, and thrives in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
Position Details:
Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available
Flexible Scheduling (including weekends & holidays as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diets
Ensure meals are appetizing, properly portioned, and served at correct temperatures
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Assist with food prep, tray line, and kitchen operations as needed
Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing team to meet resident needs
Monitor food quality, storage, labeling, and inventory
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or large-scale cooking a plus)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards required
Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions (low sodium, diabetic, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred
