Project Consultant

Apex Systems is hiring for a Project Consultant for a large healthcare client.

Location: Bay Area/Northern California (Partial Remote) - must be willing to travel to various locations 3-4x a month (location examples: Vallejo, Martinez, Pleasanton)

Employment Type: 6-months contract with potential to extend.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Consultant to support key initiatives, including consulting on the redesign of a leadership team and operational oversight structure, and supporting leadership development programs. This role requires an independent, detail-oriented individual who can manage medium-to-large scale programs, maintain confidentiality, and drive process improvements across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Lead Home Modification programs and other assigned initiatives.
• Lead and facilitate Performance Improvement (PI) projects.
• Consult on the redesign of leadership team and operational oversight structures.
• Support leadership development initiatives.
• Manage medium-to-large scale programs and projects.
• Identify and drive improvement opportunities across various teams.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in project management, quality assurance processes, or a related field is required.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Project Management or Performance Improvement certifications.
• Experience with project management tools, Tableau, or Smartsheet.

Work Environment

• This is a hybrid position requiring three days onsite per week. Candidates must be local to the office.
• The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• The dress code for this position is business professional.
• Travel of approximately 20% may be required to support business operations meetings.
