We’re seeking an ICC‑Certified Building Inspector near the San Marcos, TX area, full‑time or part‑time. This is more than just inspections—it’s about ensuring the safety, quality, and future‑readiness of the places where people live, work, and thrive. What You’ll Do Conducting inspections before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Issuing permits, violation notices, and stop‑work orders when needed. Clearly communicating findings with homeowners, contractors, and field personnel. Mentoring and training inspection staff to build a stronger, more knowledgeable team. Serving as a trusted resource for technical guidance and customer service. Staying ahead of the curve by integrating new developments in building and safety standards. What We’re Looking For A State of Texas Plumbing Inspector’s License. ICC Certifications (Commercial and Residential required). 3 or more years of inspection experience with municipal agencies.
