Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication needs as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract-to-hire position offers the unique chance to work with pediatric populations in a school-based setting, including teletherapy opportunities. You’ll provide assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators to help every student reach their full potential.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Vermont SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Experience working in schools is a plus, but not mandatory
- Comfort working with pediatric populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy—both in-person and via teletherapy—across a caseload of elementary through high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to integrate therapy goals within classroom objectives
- Maintain accurate records of progress and adhere to documentation requirements
- Engage in ongoing communication and support for student growth throughout the academic year
