As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coordination in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Sat 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Sun 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology facilities, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
