Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Nurse for part-time night shifts requiring flexibility to float across multiple campuses. The role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients in a hospital setting.
• Float between campuses to ensure proper staffing levels across units as needed.
• Adhere to medication scanning protocols to ensure accurate medication administration.
• Maintain compliance with travel and hospital policies, including on-call requirements.
• Complete required modules via HealthStream before start date.
• Submit all time-off requests within policy limits and coordinate coverage for missed shifts.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• Hold a valid state nursing license (pending licenses not accepted).
• Demonstrate expertise in medication safety and scanning procedures.
• Be willing to travel between campuses and float as required.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
