Pay Range: $20-$22 hourly

Role and Team

This position is responsible for loading and moving customer vehicles on the auction lot and through sale lanes with a Wrecker or Rollback tow truck. Reports to the Operations Manager or designated manager as part of the Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and move vehicles on lot
• Prioritize safe driving. Consistent, and safe driving is crucial for this role.
• Maintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamwork
• Inspect the wrecker or rollback to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditions

Qualifications

• High School or GED required
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Must have experience driving a tow truck
• Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmissions
• Effective customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be 18 years of age

• Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours)

• Occasional climbing, balancing, crawling, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting
• Potential running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations
• Frequent driving requires excellent visual activity and manual dexterity
• Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions

Physical Working Conditions:

This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
