Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,021 per week

Job Summary Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit assignment in Avon, Indiana. The assignment will last 8 weeks and is scheduled to start on July 1, 2026. Key Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/01/2026 Duration: 8 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hour nights Employment Type: Travel Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required. First timers accepted; 18 months required for certain units (exceptions may apply). Previous charge experience not specified. Must provide two supervisor references. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Certifications ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required. BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) – required. NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – preferred. Skills & Clinical Competencies Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Multi‑system organ failure management. Pre‑ and post‑cardiac catheterization/intervention care. IV insulin protocols. GI surgery patient care. Chronic/acute renal failure management. Arterial line management. Blood product administration. Central line care and management. PICC line management. Continuous IV sedations. Cardiac drip titration. Vasoactive drip titration. BiPap and CPAP management. Care of ventilated patients. HFNC (High Flow Nasal Cannula) management. Interpretation of ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases). Suctioning (ETT, NT). Ventilator management. Infection prevention, isolation, and use of PPE. Port access and management. Procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Initiation and maintenance of IVs. Licensure & Other Requirements License must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. Experience with Cerner charting system required. Travel & Local Candidate Policies Locals not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions. Floating required of all travelers (100% of shifts). If the candidate is a PERM or PRN employee of IU, they must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler. IU Health requires a designated break for travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment. Education Requirements University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation.
