Requirements: Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or nursing degree from an approved institution Current, unrestricted LPN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for NH licensure) Current CPR certification Experience in long-term care preferred but not required LPN Responsibilities: Oversee and direct Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in compliance with facility policies. Ensure all nursing care follows regulatory guidelines and Pleasant View Center standards. Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers , ensuring smooth transitions and proper documentation. Monitor residents for changes in condition , report findings to physicians and families, and document accordingly. Transcribe and carry out physician orders. Administer medications and perform treatments, including wound care, IV therapy, colostomy care, and tube feedings . Coordinate and schedule medical appointments and transportation for residents. Maintain resident confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the survey process and uphold Pleasant View Center’s high standards of care and safety .
