We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist with a completed Master's or PhD to support AI and Machine Learning projects. The ideal candidate will review, label, classify, and validate data used to train and improve AI models while ensuring high accuracy, consistency, and quality. This role is ideal for candidates with strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills who are passionate about contributing to cutting-edge AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and classify text, image, audio, or other data according to project guidelines.
• Review AI-generated content and provide detailed quality evaluations and feedback.
• Validate annotated datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to annotation guidelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to improve model performance.
• Interpret complex information and apply domain expertise during annotation tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security and privacy standards.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.

Required Qualifications

• Completed Master's or PhD (required) from an accredited institution.
• Degree must be in one of the following disciplines:
• Linguistics
• Education
• Creative Writing
• History
• STEM fields, including but not limited to:
• Computer Science
• Data Science
• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Engineering
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Comfortable reviewing large volumes of data while maintaining high accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with data annotation, data labeling, content evaluation, or AI/ML projects.
• Experience in research, academic writing, or qualitative/quantitative analysis.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a plus.
• Experience using annotation or labeling tools is preferred.
